场地位于麓湖商业地下空间，约1200㎡，轮廓不规则，北邻厨房、西邻车库，仅东南侧局部面向狭窄采光庭院。土建基本完成，柱网与机电密布，变动极小，造价控制在1200元/㎡以内。面对诸多限制，方案以一个简单设计动作作为回应：

一条连续曲线串联整个空间。相同材料、相同高度、相同做法，曲线搭建空间架构——中部围合为就餐区，边角划分为厨房档口与包厢。我们想象一个既公共又私密的场所：既有“大”的部分，也有“小”的部分，让每个人找到舒适角落。曲墙近于“自然”，创造类自然场域——蜿蜒岸线、漂浮岛屿、隐藏洞穴，人可自由放松活动，如身处漂浮群岛。

曲线的出发点是功能：柔化不规则轮廓并拉长商业界面；隐藏核心筒与柱子，保证视线畅通；规避梁底净高问题；收纳防火卷帘与后勤空间；形式灵活可作墙面、明档或座椅；本身即照明系统。一个单纯而深思熟虑的动作，系统性地回应所有矛盾。

“社区”最大特质是“集体性”与“社会性”。食堂的痛点是非用餐时段大量闲置。设计提出多时段使用：特殊座椅模式可转为非正式办公；空间局部开放提供下午茶或早午餐；对外界面作快闪店满足外带或“深夜食堂”；空间完全打通容纳年会、嘉年华等超尺度活动。

我们盼望食堂融于日常，让在不同时段都有人间烟火。更关心空间“如何被使用”——既可以这样，也可以那样，不只有一种表情。

Luhu Headquarters Canteen

The site is a 1,200 sqm underground commercial space in Luhu, irregularly shaped, with kitchen to the north, garage to the west, and only a narrow light court to the southeast. Construction is nearly complete; column grid and MEP are fixed. Budget is tight at 1,200 RMB/sqm. The design responds with one simple move:

A continuous curved wall weaves through the space—same material, same height, same detail—defining dining areas at the center, with kitchen fronts and private rooms along the edges. The curves create a "natural" field of floating islands, bays, and caves, offering both public and intimate spaces for everyone.

The curves are functional: softening irregular boundaries and maximizing retail frontage; hiding columns and core walls; avoiding low beams; accommodating fire shutters and back-of-house; serving as walls, counters, or seating; and integrating lighting. One thoughtful gesture addresses all constraints systematically.

Canteens typically lie idle outside meal hours. Our design enables multi-use: special seating allows casual work; local areas open for afternoon tea; street-facing zones become pop-ups or late-night eateries; the entire space opens for events.

We envision a canteen woven into daily life—lively at any hour. We care more about "how the space is used"—this way, that way, never just one expression.
