KNOWLEDGE SPACES
As the very nature of immaterial work changes from a process based routine to performative knowledge creation, the work space typologies of the future will inevitably evolve toward a less monotonous and more diverse set of spatial models that reflect the dynamic creative practice.
This project collected in Knowledge Space presents various perspectives on the future of the spaces of knowledge production, examining how spaces empowered with technology and natural elements can unleash- and simultaneously capture- people’s creative potentials.
The “Boulevard” is inspired by Le Corbusier’s the Obus Plan A in Algiers in the early 30’s. The project envisions the knowledge space increasingly works as an infrastructure that can bring together- in a non-mediated juxtaposition- the most private spaces and public performance; In the Boulevard, the collective identity will be generated by the gathering of a multitude of diverse individuals along a shared space of connection.
